We decided to spend the 4th of July weekend at camp. Unfortunately the fireworks were canceled in Breckenridge and Fairplay so we had to find other things to do.
We decided to put up a tree swing that has become very popular. In fact, if we dont put up another one soon, the kids may break out in a full royal rumble.
We also took the opportunity to visit American Safari Ranch. This is a pretty cool ranch just over the hill from us – literally at the end of the dirt road that leads into our property, a short 8.1 mile drive. They have horses and ATV’s that you can take on the surrounding thousands of acres. We didn’t make reservations, but they got the kids out on a couple of horses to ride around in the corale.
